Technical Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Tennessee Duck River Development Agency Technical Advisory Committee (DRATAC) is to provide advice and guidance to the Tennessee Duck River Development Agency (DRA) concerning water projects and other activities it may pursue to fulfill its mission. Membership consists of both regular as well as associate members. Regular members are the managers or their designated representatives of each of the Water Systems in the Duck River Region contributing to the Operating and Project Trust for the support of regional water projects. Associate members are managers of other water systems that either draw water from the watershed or return wastewater to it.
Activities of DRATAC include reviewing and recommending projects for DRA and Water Systems funding from the Operating and Project Trust and the Water Supply Project Fund. DRATAC assists in the development of a five year work plan for water project development, selection and execution for DRA. Other activities of DRATAC include assisting in the development of regional goals, guidelines and plans as the committee may determine to be appropriate for the development and protection of water resources in the Duck River Region.
